DIRECTIONS TO WOODLANDS FARM KENNELS
HOW TO FIND US
We are situated on the south side of the main A35 between Bridport and Dorchester, so we are conveniently situated for calling in on your way past.
Travelling from Bridport
We are not easy to see coming from Bridport. Follow signs for A35 Dorchester, from the roundabout by the Texaco garage, we are then approximately 3 miles on the right hand side of the road. So you know when you are getting closer, there are not many turnings on the left after Bridport, the first that is signposted, is for Askerswell, and Maiden Newton. Pass the turning, and begin indicating a right hand turn, and position to the middle of the road. Look for the arrows painted on the road to direct traffic to keep in, to be the right side of the dual carriageway barrier, the kennels entrance is on the second of the arrows. There is ample space for parking, Please keep the entrance clear, we do have large vehicles pull in for deliveries regularly.
TRAVELLING FROM DORCHESTER
Follow the A35 towards Bridport, after Winterbourne Abbas, there are 2 sections of dual carriageway, and we are at the tail end of the second section, immediately after the property with signs for 'Hill View cottages at the Travellers Rest.' This is very close to the road just after the brow of the hill, and their gateway can be seen down the hill on the left after some post and rail fencing. Our drive entrance is then just a few yards down the hill on the left.
BUS.
If you need to get a bus the no 31 service stops at the bottom of the hill at 'Loders Cross' these run at about hourly intervals in each direction. Our nearest railway station is at Dorchester.
