The Cat Chalets.
We have just 6 cattery chalets, each has a climbing pole and sun shelf, with the chalet for indoor living, which has a heater. There is also a secure run area outside complete with a sunshelf and scratching pole. Being a small unit, we can get to know our feline guests personally, and pander to their whims. We use environmentally friendly litter, and keep a selection of wet and dry foods is stock to ensure good nutrition, while keeping to the type of diet you use at home. Some of our chalet runs will be refurbished this year as part of our ongoing programme of improvements
We must ask that all cats arrive in a secure carrier.
Please check that the door and handle are safe well before you need to use your carrier. Any cat not arriving in a secure carrier is the responsibility of the owner untill it is safe in the cattery on arrival, and after leaving the security of the cattery on departure. We are near a busy main road, and noises of traffic, or other arrivals and departures may frighten your cat. Though they may well dislike the carrier, they are at least safe and secure.
Medication & vaccination.
If your cat is receiving any medication please supply us with sufficient to allow for a delay in your return, and provide accurate dosage instruction with the reason for medication and any symptoms we should be aware of. Vaccination, your cat must have received an annual booster, and we need to see the record card to make a note of the details on our records. If you are uncertain of the state of vaccination do phone your vet well in advance, to ensure this basic protection for your cat, and if you have simply lost the card the vet will be happy to provide a duplicate copy for you.
CAT CARE.
We have many years experience of cat care, and like owners to give us as much information as possible, each cat has a different personality, and so needs to be treated as an individual. Some love to be fussed and cuddled others just want to stay aloof and be left alone. Please make notes of anything you feel will help us to care for your cat effectively.
