About The Boarding Kennels.
At Woodlands Farm our boarding kennel buildings are of solid construction, where dogs can be secure, and warm with their own heat lamp, while having access to an individual run attached to the kennel, and take their daily exercise in some lovely West Dorset countryside. We aim for a calm and friendly environment, where your dog can feel at home. We will feed the sort of diet your dog is used to.
VACCINATION & MEDICATION
We must insist that your dog is vaccinated and has an up to date booster, we will need to see the record card for us to copy details for our own records. Dogs from outside the area will also require the Kennel Cough vaccination, and all young and old dogs should also have this protection. (July 2010 we have heard of cases of kennel cough in the area recently, though we have not had any at the kennels and advise giving the kennel cough vaccine)
We are happy to administer any medications, as long as we have the reason, and full dosage instructions, as well as details of any symptoms we should be aware of.
BELONGINGS.
Though we can supply beds; bedding; food etc. you are welcome to provide anything that you think will make your pet feel more at home. Beds and bedding, though not quilts or bean bags please, toys or treats are welcome. please label them, you will need collar and lead for arrival and departure, though we prefer to use our own for exercising.
DO NOT provide us with dishes, once into our sterilization and washing system it is difficult to keep track of them.
FEES.
small dogs £10.50 per day: medium size dogs £11.00
large dogs £12.00 giant sized dogs £15.00
fees are charged per day, or part of a day, and if dogs leave before 10.00 am we do not charge for that day
